Groups and Activities

Below you will a whole range of groups and actives that meet in our Church during the week.

Children and Youth

There are groups for children and teenagers during the service on Sunday mornings as well as a youth bible study group that meets every other Sunday evening.

The youth group goes away on regular trips and outings. This year we went to Spring Harvest, last year we went to Soul Survivor and we have recently enjoyed fun activities like ice skating and sleepovers.

For more information about the Youth Work at St Alban's, contact Kim on 07943 314739.

Albans Angels

Our Parent and Toddler Group is held on Tuesdays from 9.30am until 11.00am (term time only). Your little ones with Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Childminders are all very welcome.

The Children enjoy their time with free play, craft work, drinks, children's library books to borrow and “Cooking Tots” once a term.

We finish the morning with a sing-song.

We have to ask for a £2.00 donation per family to help with our costs.

For more information please contact Cheryl on 024 7626 4174 or email:

Messy Church

On the first Sunday of each month, we run Messy Church from 4-6pm. Come along for crafts, games and songs, all based on a Bible story. This is ideal for families and children of primary school age. We finish each session with a meal together.

Drop In

On Friday mornings between 9.30 to 12, feel free to pop in for tea, toast, cake and a chat with a friendly bunch of people.

Uni Students

Here at St.Alban's we would love to have any students from Coventry University or Warwick University come and visit us, to see if we're the right fit for you in this new stage of life. We're a 5min bus/car ride from the city centre, and close to lots of other student accommodation.

First, here is a short list of things you won't find at St.Alban's:
- a worship band playing long blocks of songs
- a room full of people your own age
- bad coffee

Now, here is a list of things you will find at St.Alban's:
- kind, welcoming, prayerful people
- an immediate sense of family
- opportunities to lead and serve in worship/preaching/youth & children
- robed communion... formal but meaningful :)
- vicars willing to be mentors/Spiritual Directors for Uni students
- a vicarage with sofas, central heating, homecooked food and a dog, for respite in moments of homesickness or housemate problems!

So please do come and visit us, any time, or contact us if you have any further questions. We're here every Sunday at 10am and we would love to meet you.
